I Have NOT Forgotten!!!

I have not forgotten about my blog, nor you lovely people that read it! I just really haven't had MUCH to say. Sorry. So, here's where I'm at....

I don't want to do ANYTHING wedding related! Well, that is anything related to MY wedding! Yeah, so I have less than 3 months. I have SO MUCH to accomplish at the time. Here's a list of what needs to be done so far.

To Do:
- Finish ALL invitations! I have 51 done. And I have pix of those for another post.
- Finish RSVP cards. Make sure I like the wording and print.
- Dang on wrap around labels!
- Finish card box.
- Redo the G in GODFREY for the cake table... long story.
- Food/cake tasting. Someone said the cake at my venue is NASTY! I'm scared!
- Programs
- Get photo share cards printed
- 2nd Photo session
- Photo guestbook
- Escort card chart
- Book a dang DJ

Ok, that's all I can come up with at the time, but CLEARLY, that's a whole lotta stuff to get done! AND I'm not going to ask anyone to help me do any of it... except for the escort card chart. With this long list of stuff to get accomplished, I have a lot to talk about on here! So, I hope to get back into the swing of posting. PLEASE forgive me for my neglect. It hasn't been on purpose... I'm just not feeling it lately. But I promise to be LIVE AT FIVE! lol.

I'm SUCH a Loser!!!

Yeah, I'll admit it! I haven't posted in AGES... it seems like. I do have A LOT of things to post, but since I don't have the pix that I want on this computer, I'm trying to wait. Here's what's happening:

- I OFFICIALLY booked my venue.

- I'm blinging out my cake table letters.

- I've started constructing my invitations.

- And I'm sure there's so much more! I'll be updating stuff tomorrow! {I hope.}

Happy Year of Newness everyone!!! 2011, I believe, is going to be an amazing year! There are so many things in store for Babe and me. YAY! Let's make this a great one!

Polished Up

Saturday, I went to get my nails done because it was that time! I have an overlay over my nails and I keep them with French tips. It was time for a pink and white refill. I initially wanted to get them soaked off and get Shallac, but when I went last week for the lady to fix a chip that broke, she clipped my fingernail real short. So, basically, I have all long nails and one short, and I didn't know how that would look. So, I opted out of the Shellac. But what I did want was a solid color on my nails! I've NEVER liked solid colors on my nails. I've always had French tips or clear. I've been getting solid colors on my toenails, though. Anyway, Babe doesn't care for solid colors either, but I explained to him that I was tired of seeing those white tips! I told him to pick a color for me, and he came back with four. I picked the orange like color.

I love this color! It's so pretty to me! BUT I do kinna miss my French tips. Bittersweet.

Mama's Baby

Because Future Mrs. A asked, here's an update on my baby. Look at mama's baby. Her name is Brownie! She'll be 7 months old on the 7th. Yeah, she needs a hair cut. But whatever, she's still a cutie!

What the VEIL?!

I was on TK this morning on the African American board, where I spend most my life. One of my Knottie sisters, Cincy, posts a "Daily Gorgeous Wedding". Today's was bridal portraits edition! I'm not sure that I want to take bridal portraits, but it's something to think about. Especially when the photographer that took our engagement pix won't be our wedding photographer. Anywho.... I was looking at the beautiful bridal sessions that she posted, and I came across this:

All I could say was WHAT THE VEIL?! I mean... really, WHAT THE VEIL?!

LOL! I mean... I like it! It's... different, to say the least, but I'm hoping that that's not the wedding day veil. Even if it is, I'm sure she rocked it well!

I think I'll start doing more post like this in between my lack of personal wedding related stuff to talk about.

PUPPY LOVE!!!

So, yesterday, Babe and I were driving down the street and we saw a lady on the side of the road selling puppies. Her sign didn't say the price, so we turned around and checked it out. Now, we have a puppy!!!

She doesn't have a name yet. Her name was Sprinkles for a few hours, but she doesn't wear the name well. We gave her a bath {maybe her first one} and she was terrified! After blow drying her, she went under the bed and wouldn't come out. She's actually under the bed now. I guess that's her bed. We'd been wanting a puppy, but could never find them for a reasonable price. Thankfully she was a good price. And hopefully she'll have a name by the end of the week!

You're BUGGIN!!!

Monday night, I was sleep. I was awaken out of my sleep because my finger was BURNING!!! I got up to see if I'd some way cut myself or anything. I didn't see anything. I tried to go back to sleep, but I couldn't because my finger was BURNING! I had to rub it so it wouldn't burn until I fell asleep. The next day, I see that it was AN ANT BITE!!! Yesterday, I called myself doing surgery, trying to pop the little bump and now my finger is super swollen. I'm pissed cause it looks a hot mess! Take a look:
