I Think I Have A Cavity!

Well, that's not something I really have to think about because I actually do! LOL! But that's not what I'm talking about. Last night, for WHATEVER reason, I dreamed about a candy bar. How random?! I saw the display and everything. I don't really remember any of it now. All I remember is me being so happy about the deal I got on the little bags from Palmer Packaging. I went there earlier this month and they have amazing pricing on all of their packaging supplies! I think the little bags I want are like $5 for 100 bags. That's what I'm talking 'bout! And they are the self seal kind.

I found some nice jars, 3 for $30. I think that's pretty good. I don't know anything about buying JARS! lol. I found the jars on Koyal Wholesale's website. We shall see how this whole candy bar thing goes a little later in life. I'm only talking about it now since I dreamed about it.

Making a List, Checking it Twice

From what I've heard, making a guest list can be... FUN! {Sarcasm} We finally decided that 100 people was the maximum amount of people we wanted to attend the wedding. {CLEARLY, the wedding is back on. Don't be confused by my last post.} I've written more than five guest lists in the past, but I think that the last one was pretty accurate. Today, for the first time, Babe and I went over our guest lists together! Isn't that cool?! {More sarcasm} He has a lot of people's addresses already. I want to use the guest list from Google Docs to collect all of my info. I think it's a cool and easy way to do it. I thought about sending a message to the people on Facebook, but I don't know about that. I think the Google Docs way will be easier because it'll automatically be in the Excel format. We'll see how this goes.

Until then, Babe and I are about to watch Death at a Funeral.

It Might Be Over!

I was talking to Babe the other day about people getting engaged and getting married less than 6 months later. I wasn't saying it was a bad thing, I just found it interesting. I know weddings ARE expensive and I find it interesting that people have the money to do it big so fast. He said that not everybody wants and has a big, expensive wedding like I want. And I was like the wedding isn't expensive, the budget is actually lower than the average. And he said it's expensive when you don't have it.

Now, CLEARLY, no one really has a few, couple, lotta thousand dollars set aside to pay for a whole wedding on one day! So, no shit we don't have it at the time! That's why vendors allow you to make PAYMENTS!

So, now I'm like eff it! I don't want a damn wedding! Our pastor can hopefully marry us in his office one Sunday after church! {If he can because he goes to Africa every week after church.} I hope we HAVE the money to buy the marriage license! And I don't even want to go eat afterward!

I'M SO OVER THIS!!!

Decisions, Decisions, Decisions!!!

As I mentioned in a previous posting, Babe and I had narrowed our selection down to six colors!!! I feel pretty accomplished after doing that! I don't want to set colors then end up changing them. I want to pick them and have them set FOREVER! lol.

I posted a poll on The Knot to ask the ladies their opinions of the colors. This is how it turned out:
Navy and Lime: 4
Navy and Pink: 3
Navy and Yellow: 1
Orange and Gray: 2
Coral and Brown: 2
Yellow and Black: 7 (and I was 1 of the 7 because I had to vote to see the results.)

Without my vote, Yellow and Black won by 2, followed by Navy and Lime. WOOO to the HOOO!!!

SO, I think that I will consult Babe about our colors being Navy and Lime with hints of Yellow. That way the two winners can be combined and I really think Black is boring, even though it's one of my favorite colors. We'll see what Babe thinks about this selection. *Fingers Crossed*

(Sorry that I always capitalize the names of colors as if they are proper nouns... but to me, they are! lol. (Guess I just wanted you all to know that I'm not dumb when it comes to English.))

Have A Seat

On Friday, Babe and I went to look at our venue, again. The outdoors Cathedral was actually set up for a wedding! GREAT... but not! lol. Babe said that the chairs are ugly and look like something he'd have on his patio. Ok, he was right! But I don't know that it's all that serious. The chairs were clean. This is what the chairs look like....

Well, that's the closet I can get to how they look. Anywho.... So, I told Babe that we could rent chairs from here. I'm guessing that their prices are okay. I've never rented chairs before. I just need to make sure that it's okay with the venue. And I need to make sure that their chairs are pretty and white!

Working Together

Babe has been calling me a Bridezilla. I don't think I am. He only says that because I really wasn't involving him in many of my wedding thoughts and would always cap an attitude when he had a suggestion. I finally told him that I would start from scratch {minus the venue and photographer} with the wedding planning.

He had been pitching color ideas. All of the colors he was picking were dark, fall colors. HELLO, the wedding is OUTDOORS in the SPRING! I decided that we could sit down and pick inspiration boards together! Well, I wanted him to pick 10-20 boards and I pick 10-20, which I already have some picked out, that you can see here. Then we would look at all of the colors together and see if we had any of the same boards. We'd then pick from the ones we had that were the same. Instead, we just looked at them together and picked a hand full. Now, he's given me permission to pick the colors. lol. Gotta love him! Here are the ones we picked together, in no particular order.

Orange and Gray
Black and Yellow
Coral and Brown
Blue and Yellow
Navy and Pink
Green and Navy
{All of the boards are from here.}

Looks like I still have a somewhat hard decision ahead of me, but at least it's getting smaller! Now, how exactly am I supposed to pick the correct ones?!
